How the City of Boston measured consumer confidence with Nextdoor.

Learn how the City of Boston successfully used Nextdoor for Public Agencies to measure consumer confidence and shape pandemic recovery. On Tuesday, June 15th, at 1:00 pm ET / 10:00 am PT, I invite you to join me for a webinar with Alvaro Lima and Kayla Myros from the Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) to learn the methodology they used, the poll questions they asked, and how the insights they collected affected investment and policy.

Background:

In July of 2020, the City of Boston set out to understand and support its small businesses by providing insights on consumer confidence through examining mobility data and the economic intentions of its residents. The City needed to quickly and easily survey a large sample without breaking the bank. They found success with the Poll feature on Nextdoor for Public Agencies.

Since last July, the City of Boston posted six poll questions every week to monitor trends across the City’s neighborhoods. In May 2021, these insights guided the Mayor’s policies to accelerate recovery.

This webinar is open to Nextdoor Public Agency and Service Provider partners and all government staff. Registrants will receive a copy of the presentation and a link to the webinar recording.
