3 ad types for your top business goals

Increase website visits

Welcome in! Invite new customers to visit you — online or in-store. Show products you are promoting or share services you want to highlight.

Promote a sale or discount

Bring more interested customers to your business with a discount or promotion. Running a sale is an effective way of attracting new customers and getting an existing customer to come back. Everyone loves a good deal.

Get more messages

Give potential customers or clients a direct line to you and get more messages. Start conversions with neighbors, educate them about your business, and close the deal.

Create your ad in 5 simple steps

Choose your goal

Step 1 - Decide what you want your advertising campaign to do for you and your business: increase website visits, promote a discount or sale, or get more messages.

Build your ad

Step 2 - Your chosen goal aligns with a specific ad type designed to help you best achieve it.

Choose your audience

Step 3 - Target neighbors within 30 miles of your business.

Choose your budget

Step 4 - Only spend what your budget allows by choosing your daily budget and the length of time you’d like to run your ad.

Add payment and publish

Step 5 - After a quick approval process, your ad starts running in the newsfeed, the most popular place on Nextdoor.

How does billing work?

Continuous Ads with monthly billing

Set up your ads and budget once, so you can spend your time focusing on the other parts of your business! Continuous ads are perfect for driving awareness, new leads, and evergreen promotions. When you select a daily budget, you’ll pay for 31 days upfront. Your account will be automatically charged the same amount every subsequent 31 days, and your ad will run without interruption. Edit or cancel future charges at any time.

Ads with a specific end date

This option is great for promoting deals, offers, or other messages for a specific amount of time. You’ll be charged upfront your daily budget multiplied by the number of days you set, or 31 days, whichever is smaller. If the ad duration is more than 31 days, you’ll be charged on the 32nd day the daily budget multiplied by the number of remaining days or 31 days, whichever is smaller. When your ad campaign ends, you can use any remaining funds on your next ad.

Why businesses love Nextdoor

Nextdoor puts neighbors in front of nearby businesses. I’ve tried other platforms but they’re too big and too broad Nextdoor has helped me grow my business exponentially and about 50 to 60% of my customers are through Nextdoor.

The ROI with Nextdoor is better than we’ve seen with other channels. We’ve found that leads from Nextdoor close at a much higher rate than other channels. We attribute that success to the power of recommendations from neighbors.
