Why local businesses love Nextdoor

To me, Nextdoor is an online word-of-mouth platform. If you're not plugged into the conversation on Nextdoor, you're missing an opportunity to get your customers engaged with each other. None of my other social media has had the positive business impact of Nextdoor. Not even close.

If you trust your neighbors, you trust the people they recommend. The real value [to my business] comes from what people are saying on Nextdoor, from the recommendations from the community.

Word of mouth is really big for me and that’s where Nextdoor comes in. People go "I trust what my neighbors say... tell me who a great photographer is" and they listen to that more than just an advertisement.

People want to work with businesses that their neighbors work with and trust. Nextdoor provides a platform to facilitate that. If you are looking to expand your local community presence, look no further than Nextdoor.
