Be Recognized as a Beloved Business on Nextdoor

As a local business or service provider, you are the cornerstone of thriving neighborhoods. Neighbors rely on you each day, and here at Nextdoor, we think it’s important to celebrate you, the beloved local businesses that keep the community ticking.

Neighborhood Favorites is Nextdoor’s annual local business awards that gives neighbors an opportunity to vote for their favorite local businesses across 25 different categories – and today marks the start of this year’s voting period.

These are the only local business awards voted solely by neighbors, and we want to help you get the vote out in your neighborhood. Download the Neighborhood Favorites kit to start campaigning and increase your chances of winning.

If you’re not yet on Nextdoor, claim your free Nextdoor Business Page and start accumulating votes from neighbors who know you the best.

Every vote cast during the voting period is added to your Business Page as a recommendation – which also helps you strengthen your reputation in the community. Voting runs from February 3-23, 2020, and winners will be revealed in April.

Only 1% of all businesses on Nextdoor are crowned a Neighborhood Favorite each year, which means winning is a pretty big deal. If you’re named a winner, you’ll get a Neighborhood Favorites badge on your Business Page that all of your neighbors can see. To help you celebrate your win, we’ll send you a window sticker and letter of recognition from our CEO Sarah Friar.
