Recommendations from family and friends are the primary influence when neighbors decide what to watch.
Additionally, over ⅓ of neighbors watch 2 or more hours of streaming content per day.
When it comes to watching movies in theaters, neighbors watch movies as soon as possible after a movie is released, and half of neighbors visit theaters primarily for the movie theater experience.
Proximity to home is the biggest factor for neighbors when choosing a movie theater to attend, followed by comfort and cleanliness of the venue and ticket prices. Nearly 1 in 5 neighbors have discussed the latest shows/movies with their neighbors
