Nextdoor’s Treat Map Returns for the Third Year in a Row

Oct 6, 2022 • Written by Nextdoor Enterprise Team

Nextdoor’s annual Treat Map is back for the third year in a row and is bigger and better than ever. This year, to celebrate the return of Halloween as we know it - full of decorating and family fun trick-or-treating in the neighborhood - we have revamped the Treat Map with an all-new and easy-to-navigate interface. We are also pleased to bring on Purina Beggin’ Dog Treats as a sponsoring brand who will help integrate our furry friends into the festivities with a unique pin option (see below). Nextdoor’s 2022 Treat Map is the go-to guide for neighbors who plan to celebrate Halloween, whether passing out treats, decorating their homes with haunted decor, or exploring their community for trick-or-treating and decorating.

As mentioned above, this year’s Treat Map has a new addition that is pet-friendly, enabling neighbors to include their dogs in trick-or-treating plans. While handing out dog treats might not yet be common practice, pets are family too and Nextdoor is home to a passionate community of pet lovers, providing a unique opportunity to help neighbors involve their furry friends in celebrating Halloween in a way that only Nextdoor can.

  • Decorating their house
  • Handing out candy
  • Giving dog treats and candy
