The local spots that “wow!” different communities across the country have been recognized by neighbors and are now highlighted in this year’s Neighborhood Favorites list. Neighborhood Favorites is Nextdoor’s annual award program that encourages neighbors to nominate and ultimately, recognize their favorite businesses. Best yet: this helps local stores and restaurants get an added boost of visibility within their cities (and pretty good bragging rights too).
For a second year, American Express partnered with Nextdoor to sponsor the initiative. American Express’ long-standing history of backing small businesses through the global, year-round Shop Small® movement makes them the perfect company to champion local neighborhood favorites with Nextdoor. Together, American Express + Nextdoor reached out to the Nextdoor community and asked neighbors to vote for their favorite local spots and share why they love the business(es) so much.
Now, we’re thrilled to announce the 2022 Nextdoor Neighborhood Favorites.
This year, we saw nominated businesses from 25 categories, including dining, retail, beauty, and more. The top nominated businesses will be notified via email and added to the Neighborhood Favorites list in each neighborhood that voted for them. They’ll also receive a digital media kit to help spread the word and be awarded a trophy badge on Nextdoor.
